Uniform

Our school uniform is important to us. It is one way in which we identify ourselves as a school community and it promotes a strong, cohesive school identity which supports high standards and expectations in all areas of school life. It promotes harmony between different groups represented in the school, and it enhances security.

We have kept our uniform as simple as possible: 

• a collared white polo shirt

• a jade sweatshirt or cardigan with the Breakwater Academy logo

• grey trousers / shorts / skirt / pinafore

• yellow checked school dress in summer

• plain black footwear

• white, grey or black tights

The school provides the children with a PE kit to keep in school, but pupils can bring in their own kit:

• a plain white t-shirt

• plain black shorts

• trainers or plimsolls
